Waiting is so hard. I don’t know about you but I don’t enjoy waiting. When you’re building an addition on your house I think the waiting part is the hardest. I have been excited for a while to get this done, but work has been slow. The winter this year has been a hard one. It has been very cold, and we have accumulated a lot of snow this year. I’m just very excited to see it done. I can’t wait to have all the extra room. So I sit here and wait..
When we first decided to start an addition, I had a picture in my head of how I thought it was going to look. I pictured hard wood floors, with wood accented furniture. But then I realized, we have 5 dogs. Hard wood floors probably wouldn’t be the best thing to have. I got this picture in my head of my dogs playing and one of them running full bore into the addition and hitting that hardwood floor and smacking into the wall because they couldn’t stop. You would have to know my dogs to understand. They run through this house from one end to the other just as fast as they can when they are playing, it’s quite humerous to watch. So anyways, we talked and decided that carpet would be the best thing to use. But, I keep getting ahead of myself. It’s fun when you do something like this, the possibilities are endless. We’re not finished yet but, as I said before, i’m excited.
How would you decorate an addition onto your house that more than doubled the size of your living room?? This isn’t going to be easy, but it will be fun!!
O.K. so, I love my husband very much but HELLOOOOO!!!! Can you believe that he lost his wedding ring when we went snow mobiling. I’m not mad, it could have happened to anyone. I’m kind of sad, that ring had sentimental value. I called the lodge and asked them to keep an eye out for it but, yeah right!! Like anyone would turn it in..
So today I decided that i’m going to suprise him. I ordered him a new Tungsten Wedding Ring. I called him at work today and told him that we were going to go ring shopping next weekend, that way he doesn’t go out a buy a ring before the one I ordered gets here. I had originally ordered his ring from www.eternaltungsten.com and decided to just re-order another one. I find that with him being a mechanic, his previous ring stood up to his work rather well. It really suprised me!!
So needless to say that even though we love them, sometimes you just want to bop them in their head. I know I could have popped him a good one when he first told me, but then I had to sit back and realize that it could have happened to me just as easily.
I haven’t posted anything in a couple of days. My husband and I rented a cabin and a snowmobile with a bunch of friends this weekend. I haven’t had that much fun in quite a while. Even though I live in Montana I have never had the chance to go snow mobiling. This weekend was my first time. I told my husband we now have something to do as a yearly tradition. He agreed!!
We built an addition onto our house this last spring and it’s been wonderful. As I sat here surfing around on the internet tonight I realized that we should have a house warming party. O.k. so it wouldn’t really be a house warming party seens how we’ve lived here for years, it would be more like an addion warming party. Does that make any sense? I figure it would be a great way to get the family together. So I jumped on the web and started looking for places that print invitations. At this point you’re probably saying, why dont you just print them yourself. The truth of it is that by time I put in the hours to design one, proof read it, put cute little pics on it, and print all of them out (I will need a lot) it is just too much for me to do right now. So I figure that it’s just best to order them. So here is my question to you. I looked around on alot of websites and I have decided to go with www.invitationconsultants.com. Well I had an interesting weekend. I just got started with my blogging on friday and by friday evening I was sick as a dog. I caught the flu that has been going around, so that is why you havent heard from me anymore. I’m finally feeling better, so now i’m back at it. This is exciting!!
