I got a comment on the other post I wrote about scrap booking that was very interesting. The person told me that they look around the house for embellishments, and guess what. I had never done so before, but i’m really glad I did . I found some wonderful things to add to it, and it gave me so many ideas that I ended up getting half the book done in a couple of days. I could have kept going but I made myself stop. I’ll start it up again later, that way I have a fresh set of eyes and a fresh set of ideas.
I appreciated the comment very much and would enjoy getting any comments and ideas that anyone has for me. I’ve been scrapbooking for so long that I had run out of ideas!!
I’ve been so busy lately that I told my self a couple of weeks ago that I was going to relax for a bit and quit getting so stressed. That’s the reason that I haven’t posted anything in a while. I’ve been spending some time just taking it easy. I decided to start the Scrapbook that i’ve been meaning to start for a while now. I’m glad I did. I forgot how much fun scrapbooking can be. Expensive, but fun.
We’re still working on the addition to the house. It’s been stressful but it will be worth it in the end. One of the most exciting parts for me is the new furniture I get to order. In fact, I made an appointment to get my carpets cleaned on friday and after that I can order my new computer desk. I already know where i’m ordering it from. I’ll write again, but i’m pretty busy right now.
I don’t feel like talking about the addition today. So far it has been taking up most of my free time and I decided yesterday to take a break for a bit. Of course that decision may in part be because I had some appointments to go to today. Well, actually it was my pups that had appointments. Appointments at the vet that is. The funny thing about it is that my pups are too hyper for me to take both of them into the vet by myself, so I took the little girl in for her shots this morning and then drove her back home. Immediately after getting home I had to take her in the house and get her brother ready to go, then drive him in to see the vet which made him really unhappy. My pups don’t like riding in the car, and they most certainly don’t like going to the vet. I’m not really sure why though, I take them to the best vet that we have around here. He is so nice to them that he spends about the first 5 minutes of every visit on the floor with them trying to play with them. I can tell that he really likes animals. Oooohh. I did it. I managed to go a whole day without working on the addition. This feels goooooood. I like relaxing. O.k. so I know it’s only 5 o’clock but I already told my husband that we aren’t going to work on the addition when he gets home either. He agreed!!!!!
