At that time there was no internet and it was very difficult to find any information. Now it's too much information. So many people are very passionate about how they feel about the disease, but what is important to remember is everyone is different and we all have different experiences with endo. I am now 47 and I have had 9 major abdominal surgeries. I know more about this than any of my docs unfortunately. After all the years I've been sick I don't see any new things to treat this disease. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me. I'd be happy to give you my take on this disease. I'm really trying to raise simple awareness about this disease. It can be very devastating and it affects so many women and so many people have never heard about it and some who have it don't really know much about it. There is improvement on communication and support so please take advantage of that. It's very hard to go through this without the support of others who understand what you are going through....
